The EnoTour Project is pleased to announce the launch of its new series of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses), designed to support the digital, sustainable and experiential transformation of the wine tourism sector.
Developed collaboratively by the EnoTour consortium partners, the MOOCs provide accessible and specialised training opportunities for students, professionals, wineries and stakeholders interested in innovation in wine tourism.
The courses address key topics such as:
- Wine tourism experience design
- Sustainability and digitalisation
- Gastronomy and food pairing
- Business management for micro and small enterprises (MSEs)
- Cultural heritage and storytelling
- Digital communication and innovation in wine tourism
The MOOCs are available free of charge during the project implementation phase and are aimed at fostering new skills and competencies aligned with the evolving needs of the sector.
University Micro-Credentials
As part of this initiative, participants who successfully complete selected MOOCs until 30th May may obtain official university micro-credentials free of charge issued within the framework of the project.
In particular, learners completing:
- MOOC 3: MSEs (Micro and Small Enterprises) – Business Management in Wine Tourism
- MOOC 6: Wine Tourism Experience and Digitalisation
will have the opportunity to receive a collaborative micro-credential recognising their learning achievements and acquired competences.
This initiative contributes to the promotion of flexible learning pathways and lifelong learning opportunities in line with European priorities for higher education and professional training.
Supporting Innovation and Skills in Wine Tourism
The launch of the MOOCs represents an important milestone within the Educational Component of the EnoTour Project, reinforcing collaboration between universities, VET providers, wineries and tourism stakeholders across Spain, Portugal, France and Italy.
Through these learning resources, EnoTour aims to:
- strengthen digital and sustainable competences,
- promote innovation in wine tourism experiences,
- support professional upskilling and reskilling,
- and encourage stronger connections between education and industry.
The EnoTour consortium encourages students, professionals and wineries to explore the courses and participate in this international learning initiative.
