The builder, Count Ernest de Lahens, founder of the Médoc railway, who built the iconic Château Larose Trintaudon as a lighthouse in the middle of a sea of vines. The visionaries, the Forner family, who replanted the largest vineyard in the Médoc and expanded its reputation in the emerging French retail market and internationally.
