Our sustainable wine tourism offering

Point of interest

Just one hour from Bordeaux, in the heart of the Médoc, Château Larose-Trintaudon opens the doors to a vineyard where a visit becomes a true immersion. Here, wine tourism is being reinvented: a building entirely dedicated to welcoming visitors and an innovative tour invite you to discover the estate’s history, expertise, and the soul of its wines in a new way. Each step is designed to awaken your senses and offer an experience that is both enriching and convivial. Committed and accessible, the estate produces wines that are high-quality, responsible, and meaningful. This approach, focused on sustainable tourism, has been recognised with a 2026 Best Of Wine Tourism Award. Everything is designed to make your visit simple and enjoyable: bilingual welcome, a variety of resources (videos, tastings, activity booklets in four languages, and non-alcoholic tastings for children), a year-round air-conditioned boutique, free Wi-Fi, and even a summer “on-the-go” food offer. Whether you come with family, friends, or alone, everyone is welcome thanks to adapted facilities, including for children and people with disabilities. With extensive opening hours and year-round access to visits—sometimes even without booking—Château Larose-Trintaudon stands out as an essential stop for wine lovers and curious visitors alike. Two complementary visiting experiences are offered: • Self-guided visit: Between Wines and Stories Available all year round without booking, this visit allows guests to freely discover: the history of our four estates through a bilingual scenography, our CSR commitments and our “Vignobles Responsables” approach, a video immersion into a full year of vineyard and cellar work, the diversity of our terroirs through educational soil cross-sections. The visit ends with a tasting of two wines accompanied by a bilingual guide. A simple, accessible, and educational experience designed to democratise wine discovery. • Immersive guided tour: From Vine to Glass More comprehensive, this guided tour offers a true journey through our cellars and vineyards: immersive scenography, discovery of technical facilities, visitor walkway, grape variety garden, and outdoor spaces structure the experience. The visit concludes with a guided tasting of four wines representing our Médoc estates. A lively and educational approach that provides a concrete understanding of the environmental and societal challenges facing the wine industry. Each step highlights the choices made by the estate to build a sustainable and responsible form of viticulture.
