The Massimago winery in Mezzane di Sotto is a historic Valpolicella winery (active since 1883) that now works exclusively with certified organic farming methods. The winemaking process is artisanal, with manual harvesting, careful drying of the grapes for “appassito” wines, maceration and aging in wood and bottles, favoring methods that respect the terroir and the freshness of the fruit.
