The house dates back to the last century and was restored in the 1990s. Respect for the original design was the cornerstone of the reconstruction, preserving the stone kitchen with its wood-fired oven, the sash windows, and many of the existing antique artifacts and furniture in the house. Traditionally, the vines were planted on the edges of the plots, predominantly with red grape varieties, notably "Vinhão". The reconversion of the vineyards began in the 1990s and was modernized with the planting in rows and the introduction of new, not traditionally used, grape varieties, which allows for the production of high-quality wines that express the characteristics of the region, increasingly focused on white wines.
