Located beneath the historic monastery of Sant Sebastià dels Gorgs, El Jardí dels Sentits is a family project born two decades ago at Cal Almirall de Lavern, the ancestral vineyard estate of the Raventós family, founders of Lacrima Baccus. Rooted in limestone soils and surrounded by nature, the estate has been passed down through generations with a deep respect for the land and the traditions of Penedès. The artistic sensitivity of M. Assumpció Raventós, who inherited the estate’s finest vineyards, and the winemaking passion of Javier Ozcáriz, who learned the craft from the Raventós grandparents, laid the foundations of the project. Their youngest daughter, Blanca Ozcáriz — trained in oenology at two of the world’s leading wine schools in Bordeaux and Burgundy — has carried this legacy forward since 1998, managing the family vineyards and shaping the wines of El Jardí dels Sentits with a contemporary vision. Today, the winery reflects the Mediterranean identity, creativity, and authenticity of the Penedès landscape through wines crafted with care, personality, and respect for nature. All wines are produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes and have been certified organic since 2017. The project is also committed to biodynamic and regenerative farming practices, including natural plant cover, phytotherapy, and composts matured on the estate itself.
