VINEVINU was born during the 2024 harvest from the shared enthusiasm of Manuel and Luís Cerdeira, a father-and-son winemaking duo. Their goal was to create an innovative project in the Vinho Verde region of northern Portugal, exploring the versatility of Alvarinho and capturing its essence across different terroirs, from the sea to the mountains. This duo, from different generations, unites with a shared vision: to preserve the winemaking tradition of the Minho while incorporating innovation and creativity. With 30 years of experience, the father brings extensive knowledge about white wines made with Alvarinho, while the son, with a contemporary approach, pushes the limits of winemaking.
